Lasers and Receivers for Optical Communications

Archcom Technology Inc. is a pure play active component manufacturer which specializes in laser diode and photodetector based active components, and our in-house manufacutring capability includes chip fabrication, packaging and testing. This enables us to market a broad range of high performance lasers and photodiodes for the FTTx, Ethernet, SONET, Fiber Channel and CATV applications. On the transmit side, Archcom offers a full range of uncooled 1310 nm and 1550 nm Fabry-Perot (FP) and DFB lasers from 155 Mbps to 10 Gbps. On the receive side, we provide InGaAs based receivers from 155 Mbps up to 40 Gbps. We also provide cooled and uncooled 980 nm pump lasers for optical amplifier (EDFA) applications, as well as cooled 1550 nm DFB lasers. Archcom offers its products in various package form factors including chip, TO-Can, TOSA/ROSA, mini-Dil, butterfly and coaxial assemblies.

Archcom is privately held and is headquarters in Azusa, California, located about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Our headquarters occupies a 24,000 sq. ft. facility, which includes 7,000 sq. ft of clean rooms (class 100, 1000, and 10,000). Archcom is also a partner in a joint venture called Shenzhen Archcom, which is located in the high-tech industrial area of Shenzhen, China. Shenzhen Archcom is capable of low cost, high volume production to meet the demands of the Datacom and Telecom industries, and also serves as Archcom's sales and marketing channel for the Asian markets.
